Joost Zuurbier

One of the most experienced competitors in the championship having undertaken his first event in Kenya in 2009 on a bike.  In 2012 he moved to the car class in his ex-UK championship winning Tornado Diesel.  He also has extensive experience in North Africa racing his 'sleeper' chevi v8 powered land rover.

Joost races his ex-UK Championship winning diesel TORNADO - it might look a bit like a Land Rover, but it is nothing further from the truth.  Rumour is that in 2018 his new turbo is going to give him an edge to compete against the Prototypes. - always neat and always far faster than it appears !

Joost has shown that he has the pace to win events - when in 2012 he entered the Guru Nanak rally  he finished 12th out of 85 KNRC rally cars!

Maartin Piet

With a similar love of double vowel names, fellow Dutch man Maartin was formally a competitor in the Bike class.  Not only does he know how to navigate, but he can also ride a motorbike a speed when he does it.  An Iceman - one to watch.

Numerous event wins

2017 Morocco Desert Challenge: Class Winner

2016 Championship: 2nd O/A

2015 Libya Rally: 7th O/A
